“…Assessing the Impact of Technology in Teaching and Learning: A Sourcebook for Evaluators. Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan, 2002. The Sourcebook provides an overview of measurement issues in seven areas, from learner outcomes to technology integration. A collection of appendices includes examples of measures used in a variety of technology projects previously funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) (formerly the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI)” que encontrei referenciado aqui.

Referências I

De “Critical Issue: Using Technology to improve student achievement” consultar aqui.

Revisão

Hoje dediquei-me à selecção dos próximos artigos a ler (do “British Journal of Educational Studies“, do “European Journal of Teacher Education“, do “Instructional Science” e do “British Journal of Educational Technology“).

Resultados a reter

. 21st Century Community Learning center Program: A study to evaluate the success of a program in a rural county in east Tennessee
. School administrators’ and technology education teachers’ views of the Standards for Technological Literacy: Content for the study of technology
. Bridging the digital divide: Perceptions of technology education among elementary school teachers in Fresno, California
. Attitudes toward technology and development of technological literacy of gifted and talented elementary school students
. The value of technology education to elementary school students’ learning of technology concepts and processes: A qualitative investigation of a constructivist perspective
. An analysis of the variables that affect technological literacy as related to selected Technology Student Association activities

The best way to predict the future is to create it.”

podemos ler o seguinte:

Children are growing up immersed in digital media which they use for entertainment, communication, learning and shopping. They believe if they had greater access to current technology in their education that they would get greater satisfaction from school, learn more, produce more high quality projects, and perform better on test and assessments (NetDay, 2004). There is evidence that students who are given more complex, intectually challenging, and authentic assessment perform better on standardized tests (Newmann, bryk & Nagaoka, 2001). Many technologies are a natural match for designing and developing innovative constructivist learning environments and real-world assessments (Tileston, 2000).”

Ainda e sempre a Avaliação

But even more useful to the student, if it can be obtained, is an analysis of the causes of his difficulties. We believe that eventually (especially with the use of computers and more carefully devised formative tests) it should be possible to write a very complete diagnosis of the student’s difficulties and their probable causes.
